Hi, I’m Megan Carlyle. Over the last 20+ years, my career has been split almost equally between practicing as a corporate lawyer and working on the business side of corporate America.  I’ve had the benefit of engaging with some world-class leaders. I’ve watched people who work in alignment with their values, have a strong sense of themselves as a leader, and who live their lives on purpose, in all respects.  I experienced first hand how, when I felt empowered and valued, I became a more effective and energized contributor.  That kind of engagement impacted not only me but my colleagues, friends, and family.

At times, I was that leader but at other times, I wasn’t.  I know what it feels like to be ‘stuck’ and feel like my career is managing me instead of the other way around. I’ve lead superior teams as well as those that struggled. I’ve experienced the exhaustion that comes from working with poor leaders who seem oblivious to the negative ripple effect their actions have on the people around them.  It’s draining in every sense of the word, for everyone.

I came to coaching during one of my “stuck” phases and it was through the help of some amazing coaches that I was able to find the oar again and start rowing my own boat instead of going where the current took me.  I saw how the shifts I was making were positively impacting those around me.  It was energizing, for them and me.

I started my coaching practice because I want others to experience the same kind of freedom, control, and inspiration I experienced. All of us have the ability to be exceptional leaders and I’ve seen the impact that can have on a personal, organizational, and community level.  I am committed to helping you determine and then implement how you want to be an extraordinary leader.

Please reach out if you’d like to connect, I’m interested to hear your story.
